Casper is seeking a motivated FP&A Summer Analyst Intern to join the Finance team this summer. This intern will learn about the FP&A function and the team's value proposition to the business. The summer analyst will also learn more about the consumer product / retail business and how that translates to our three financial statements. The analyst will also gain exposure to a financial planning system and will be given the opportunity to further advance their Excel skills. The ideal candidate is a proactive contributor and highly organized. This is a hybrid role, working an average of up to 3 days per week based at our spacious 3 World Trade Center office.

When you're not catching zzz's, this is what you'll do:

• Assist on the quarterly forecast in preparation for the 2Q Board meeting
• Support monthly reporting to management, sponsors, and external stakeholders
• Partner cross functionally with business leaders to manage budget vs actual reporting
• Learn how to use our cloud based planning and reporting tool Adaptive Insights
• Work on FP&A process efficiency projects to streamline data processing and enhance analytical reporting

Our dream candidate is…

• A rising senior or recent graduate, working toward/or with an undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a similar field of study
• Has a solid base in accounting and finance including an understanding of the three financial statements
• Has significant experience with Excel and is proficient in G-suite
• Is a team player possessing a strong work ethic, a drive for results and a passion for learning
• Is extremely organized and detail oriented and has excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive approach to work, you like to solve problems and don't wait for someone to give you the answer
