Job Summary:

Benton Card Company is seeking an experienced graphic designer who can successfully oversee our design department while establishing and maintaining positive relationships with our customers by ensuring their requirements and needs are met.

This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent time management, some sales experience, and graphic design skills with an eye for detail. We are looking for an individual with the ability to develop lasting relationships with our clients, and the ability to manage projects and keep things moving. He/she must be an outgoing self-starter and independent worker who is passionate about finding ways to effectively promote and grow the entire Benton Card Company brand.

At Benton Card Company, work spans print and digital media including signage, new business design and logo creation, branding, commercial printing, as well as full offset and digital printing in-house.

Qualifications:

• The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design, sales or a related field and be at ease providing guidance to our junior graphic designers
• Outstanding communication skills, including one-on-one and group communication, along with exceptional written and verbal skills.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with other team members and business partners
• Strong organizational, project and account management, computer and database management skills, in addition to the ability to oversee multiple projects.
• Applicants must be highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications, especially InDesign, Illustrator and Acrobat, and possess an understanding of digital printing processes.
• Applicant must be a quick learner, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Creates layouts and designs of logos, print and sales collateral and other published marketing materials, such as but not limited to: Brochures, business forms, business cards, apparel, vinyl decals, booklets, invitations, sales material, yard signs, banners, calendars, etc.
• Must promote a positive company image and have a professional appearance.
• Ability to effectively respond to feedback and suggestions to continuously improve the services provided to members and staff.
• Assists with managing and developing orders, tracking production, and all aspects of account/project management
• Develop strategic ideas and help craft Benton’s approach in new business efforts
• Oversee multiple projects and deadlines, integrating client feedback, while still delivering effective creative solutions

Salary:

The position will offer a competitive base salary based on experience.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
