We are a busy bakery chain located in Union City, North Bergen, and Guttenberg that focuses on authentic relationships with our clients and prioritize amazing customer service.

We are seeking a detail oriented, committed and passionate social media manager that can effectively manage our social networks, including but not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, email, website and Google reviews. The fast-paced nature of this position requires an individual who is proficient in using all aspects of social media to brand our organization and create new and engaging content across all platforms in order to grow our audience and brand.

We are looking for a technology assistant familiar with all social media, and great organization skills. You would also have to know how to navigate website editing or be willing to learn about the platform we use. The candidate will be working with our photos or videos and taking new photos, posting on social media, editing our website and updating other media outlets.

Responsibilities:

• Write engaging posts that encourage interaction and sharing on social media.
• Take and edit pictures and videos to use as posts, stories and reels
• Create effective social media strategies that educate and attract new customers.
• Manage and execute the overall social media strategy for our company.
• Brainstorm new content ideas for the website based on current events, holidays, weather, etc.
• Stay on top of current social media trends and evaluate how we can best participate (or not!).
• Monitor and research competitor posts.
• Answer email inquiries along with Google reviews on a regular basis
• Update and manage the website consistently
• Responsible for seasonal window graphics, menus designs, digital menu boards, labels designs, packaging ideas as well

Qualifications:

• Must be creative thinker and have an eye for design.
• A bachelors in social media marketing, or PR is preferred (or a current student!)
• 1-2 year of relevant experience required
• English and Spanish is required
• Basic graphic designing, through Canva
• Must be very attentive to detail, and able to organize photoshoot days, filming days, create a posting schedule, while also keeping track of answering emails and reviews on google and yelp.
• Is a persistent problem solver who is able to constantly assess, diagnose and resolve simple and complex challenges
• Is extremely creative and is on top of all the latest trends and have an active presence online
• Is witty and original, finds unique ways to promote products or campaigns
• Has a strong understanding of business strategy and how marketing (specifically social & digital media) can drive results.
• Enjoys the process of content creation & interacting
• Has the ability to write concisely and with a persuasive voice, without typos or delay

This is a part-time job. Approximately 3 or 4 days per week at most. Pay range is from 18-23/hr depending on experience.
