Description:The Help Desk Advisor supports the operation of the Help Desk which includes the Help Desk staff, Measure Quick tools, and the Digital Duncan software. The Help Desk provides education, technical support, quality control, and general assistance to field technicians as well as office staff across multiple departments. The Help Desk Advisor is held accountable for the implementation of Digital Duncan, raising technician performance, reducing technical errors, and documenting system performance on all HVAC maintenance, service calls, and installations performed by Goettl.?
Requirements:Essential Functions

• Provide technical instruction and support for HVAC technician on HVAC principles and procedures, proper use of Measure Quick tools, and the creation of a Digital Duncan report.
• Coach technicians in the field in real time using Digital Duncan.
• Assist the Goettl Academy with technical training classes.
• Help maintain the inventory of Measure Quick tools and issue them to technicians.
• Help the branches meet KPIs for each division within the HVAC operation (maintenance, service, and install).
• Contribute data for the weekly and monthly reports on KPIs, compliance, achievements, and unresolved issues.
• Collaborate with and provide technical assistance for Call by Call and Install departments to help solve problems, generate sales, design installations, and ensure Goettl standards are being met.
• Occasional out-of-state travel may be required.

• 5 years of field experience as a residential HVAC technician
• EPA certification Type 2 or better
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and other industry-wide software applications such as Service Titan
• Fantastic organizational and time management skills
• Superior critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Ability to diagnose and solve HVAC problems remotely

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• EPA Certification Universal
• Certified in advanced HVAC diagnosis and able to perform manual J and manual D calculations
• HVAC teaching experience in a trade school or community college
• Previous experience serving as an HVAC Service or Install Manager

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
