Job description

Operate and oversee a multi-unit market focusing on auditing stores, developing leaders, controlling costs, recruiting, increasing sales, and supporting the store management teams. Expected to interact effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as the broader Jimmy John’s Company

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 Oversee operations of 3 – 6 units with accountability for meeting financial targets and managing staff performance.

 Daily visits to audit and improve operational efficiency, adherence to systems and procedures, daily and weekly paperwork, and overall quality of service.

 Continuously audit daily food preparation (opening procedures, meat and vegetable slicing, bread production), deliveries, catering orders, and the unit’s sampling program.

 Promote unit team development and act as an advisor to unit staff to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems.

 Set and achieve sales and labor targets and assume responsibility for cash, assets and overall P&L performance of units managed.

 Ensure adherence to operating policies and procedures and communicate policy/procedure changes.

 Manage all hiring, training, evaluating, disciplining, and termination of store managers.  Apply extensive knowledge of policies, procedures, and practices utilized within units managed.

 Review and audit labor goals set by the General Manager of each unit.

 Display a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments.  Perform other related duties as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
