Lead Business Analyst – Insurance Industry

Remote ( Must Live On East Coast )

Work for a well – established global insurance company that specializes in Risk Management.

Lead contact working directly with all key stakeholders involved in a product launch to fully utilize our technical platform and ensure optimal processes across all areas of the business. Possess an in-depth knowledge of our products, platforms, business processes and distribution methods.

Employ several techniques when eliciting requirements from business representatives including interviewing and facilitating workshops.
Cross-organization collaboration to define and document comprehensive business and system requirements

Partner with Configuration and Quality Teams to define acceptance criteria and develop design of systems and processes as appropriate across the business.
Understand and promote innovative process design in addition to agreeing requirements. Identify key gaps in our current capabilities and develop proactive strategies to solve them

Partner with UCO Trainer to document and deliver training to the organization
Work within a variety of project and solution design frameworks as required at
Client
Assess and mitigate risks and issues.
Some project management responsibilities as required

Knowledge and Experience:

Proven experience in IT and process projects, ideally within the insurance sector,
leading business analysis activities

Experience with product launches is desirable
Experience of insurance environment – Global a Plus
Use of various analysis and project management frameworks covering scope
definition, planning, budgeting, reporting, management of risks and issues. Experience with Agile project methodology a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
