Mount Pleasant, TX - Rendering Driver

Truck Driver Pay Rates

  • $4,000 SIGN ON BONUS!!
    • 1,000 at 30 days, $2,000 at 90 days, $1,000 at 6 months, $1,000 at 12 months
  • Average $245-$270 daily, depending on runs
  • Annually drivers average $66,000 with our top drivers earning $82,000+
  • Downtime Pay

  • Daily minimum pay when in training

    • $50 every week of your referred driver's first year

Truck Driver Work and Route

  • Days/Shifts: Monday through Friday with occasional mandatory 6th day when needed
  • Hours: 8 to 14-hour days, varies on plant needs/changes and driver capacity
  • Start Times: 11am, 3pm or 7pm
  • Pickups/Deliveries: Typically 2 loads per day
  • Driving/Delivery Area: Local loads from area processing plants to Mount Pleasant Rendering Plant, Rendering plant to feed mills and pet manufacturers
  • Equipment: day cabs and sleeper trucks with automatic transmission
  • Load: some live unload 40' - 45' hopper trailers, tankers, dump trailers. Approx 80% pre-loaded and ready to pull
  • Must be willing to cross train and pull hopper bottom and fat tanker loads when necessary.
  • Home Time: daily (rare occasions of spending the night in truck/motel)

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid Class-A CDL with 1 year of 53' tractor trailer experience.
  • Mentor programs are available for drivers with less than a year of experience.
