What you'll do...

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for developing, planning, and managing outcomes of the load testing strategy for extremely complex portfolio of applications in the Cloud and on-premises (Hybrid Cloud). Manage and lead a globally diverse and distributed team focused on these deliverables. Lead both the transformation as well as the business change required, while ensuring that load testing operations keep functioning flawlessly. Consult with peers, program sponsors, participants, stakeholders, and customers to review program (load operations) proposals including KPIs, goals, time frames, and funding limitations. Ensure that program goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives. Responsible for managing the program teams, setting goals, tracking, managing performance, and ensuring corporate sponsorship from cross-business unit leadership

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Define the strategy and desired outcomes of assigned program(s) and deliverables that are aligned to the strategic objectives of the business.
  • Participate in all phases of software development life-cycle (SDLC) to ensure product quality meets/exceeds load expectations.
  • Define and own the KPIs related to quality and load testing, develop proactive insights, and drive necessary changes to programs.
  • Responsible for project management by strategizing and planning load testing for high volume web applications, reviewing tools, implementation of proof-of-concepts for test engineering, refactoring, and re-architecting legacy components.
  • Precise, clear, and concise updates and reports on testing progress, status, issues, and mitigations
  • Manage and maintain production like testing environments and testing tools
  • Identify and implement innovative changes to increase efficiency in how we work.
  • Deliver programs on time and on budget with superior quality.
  • Coordinate all activities with, and report regularly to senior leadership/sponsorship teams.
  • Monitor and mitigate project, program, and operational execution risks.
  • Work in partnership with business leaders to obtain and commit necessary associate resources at the appropriate time, level, and expertise to support the programs.
  • Ensure all technical procedures are documented and updated.
  • Relentlessly introduce new ways of improving, optimizing & scaling of the load operations across all our environments
  • Act as a liaison between business and technical aspects of the projects, supporting Directors in product and technology management, analyzing product changes, providing directions where needed.
  • Provide oversight to teams of individuals from cross functional teams, as well as vendors to accomplish program outcomes. Manage vendor relationships and ensure their delivery, on time and on budget.
  • Establish appropriate project management tools, processes and procedures for the corporate project management office as well as ensuring compliance with such tools.
  • Manage the program budget, putting in place financial disciplines that reflects the business demands, and ensuring their execution to meet or beat budget.
  • Coach and mentor direct reports, supporting and inspiring their development and career growth objectives.

  • SIEM tools - Splunk, Elastic search and Kibana

What you'll bring to the team...
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology or related field
  • 8 years of business and/or consulting experience.
  • 7 years of Software Development Life-Cycle (SDLC) experience including:
    • Automated testing, Load Testing (using tools like NeoLoad, LoadRunner), and custom tool development
    • Application platforms including .Net, Java, C#; Operating Systems including Linux and Windows
    • Code reviews, software debugging, thread, memory, and process analysis
  • Program management experience leading very large, mission-critical programs that involve significant business change.
  • Experience leading large geographically distributed teams in a matrix management environment.
  • Incident and technical support management
  • Monitoring and capacity planning for high-throughput and low-latency real-time systems
  • Demonstrated track record of establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience developing and managing program budgets.
  • Strong knowledge of business case development including cost/benefit analysis, NPV, current and future state assessments.
  • Experience developing and negotiating partnerships with external vendors/suppliers.
  • Experience managing vendor agreements and tracking service levels.
  • Superior oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong presentation and facilitation skills to communicate with and persuade a wide range of audiences.
  • Superior supervisory and matrix management skills and ability to oversee tasks delegated to others.
