MUST HAVE SOLIDWORKS and FIXTURE / COMPONENT / EQUIPMENT DESIGN EXPERIENCE

Company Overview: Berlon Industries, located in Hustisford, WI., www.berlon.com - a manufacturer and distributor of buckets and attachments for skid steers, is looking for an individual in our Manufacturing Engineering, Production and Product Engineering areas.

Reports to: Director of Product Development

Responsibilities: Areas of responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Designing fixtures and gauges – getting them built, assembled, implemented, and tweaked for optimum performance.

· Develop work instructions, process routings, and facility layout.

· New equipment investigation, justification, selection, and implementation.

· Support the development of new products that support Berlon Industries Growth Initiatives

· Co-ordinate and manage the manufacture of sample parts with the production plant including procurement of components.

· Evaluate the market and competitive product.

· Develop and manage a robust test process.

· Ability to manage a cost estimating process for all new designs.

· Print markups for one off special designs.

Requirements: The ideal candidate must have:

· BS Degree in Engineering

· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Manufacturing Engineering

· Strong Welding knowledge is preferred.

· Robot Welding and Programming is preferred.

· Good working knowledge of computer systems; MS office, ERP – BOM and Routings.

· Ability to produce quality engineering drawings.

· Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Base compensation: $70,000 to $80,000 per year
