A busy, fun and active family in Waunakee is looking for an experienced nanny house manager for their family.

Both parents have very demanding schedules, so when there is down time, they enjoy spending quality time as a family. They are avid hikers and love exploring new parks. They enjoy cooking together and traveling as much as possible.

They have three boys, ages 12, 10, and 8. The 12 year old is incredibly sweet. He loves all things science and learning new things. The 10 year old is thoughtful and kind. He loves to read and ride his bike. The 8 year old is an old soul. He loves to play music and basketball. All 3 boys have a love for the outdoors, baking, playing board games and reading (Harry Potter is a major favorite right now!).

The role will be a combination of nanny and household manager responsibilities. The HM role will include: encouraging the boys to help with house chores, daily general tidying/organization of the home, emptying and loading the dishwasher, daily household laundry/linens, grocery shopping + light meal prep, and running errands.

Afternoons will consist of getting the boys to after-school activities, planning fun outings/playdates, helping with homework, and engaging them in creative activities. The family hopes to find a nanny who can balance providing a structured environment with allowing time and space for fostering their independence.

The ideal candidate will be active, patient, engaging, positive, naturally loving and organized. Someone who has a genuine love for the outdoors would be a great fit for this family! *Family has an outdoor pool, so nanny must be a strong and confident swimmer.

It is important that the nanny is comfortable deescalating conflict between the boys and communicating this with the parents so they can work as a team. The parents truly view the nanny as an extension of themselves and want the nanny to feel supported at all times.

The family does not wish to micromanage the nanny/house manager and hopes to find someone that is pro-active, appreciates open-communication and is a strong self advocate. The family wants the nanny to feel supported and encourages new ideas.

Interviewing now! Position to start full time in June, with flexibility to start sooner for the right candidate. *This position will transition to 30 hours/week once the school year begins.

Schedule: Summer: M-Fr: 9am-5pm

School Year: 12pm-6pm

Compensation: $22-27+/hr (BOE)

Benefits: 30 hours guaranteed pay/week, accrued PTO, paid federal holidays that align with parent's schedule, option for money towards health insurance, use of family vehicle, mileage reimbursement, raises and bonuses based on performance.
