General Description of Position

Coordinates the movement of product through Perfekta from the Gate One Process to the Gate 2 Process. This position is responsible for coordinating schedules to ensure that customer First Article parts are completed on schedule. The New Product Transition Coordinator is the forward communications link between our customers (Internal and External). Monitors and produces governance metrics. Responsible for coordination with internal departments to give status of current situation. Report all constraints that could prevent us making our stated goals, and develop recovery action plans. Analyze current operating performance and design new methods for optimizing performance.

Work Experience & Education Pre-Requisites

1. 7 years aviation experience with at least three years of business analytics experience or 3 years project management experience.

2. 3 years customer support or direct sales experience, preferably in an aircraft related field.

Four year college degree preferred

Job Duties & Details

1. Creation Of Master Schedule to transition work from Gate One to Gate Two on our committed schedule

2. Ensuring complete awareness and support of entire organization in meeting committed schedule

3. Being familiar with contractual requirements and using this information in cost/risk analysis of decisions made

4. Trend analysis transition

5. Other duties as assigned by Director.

GOALS FOR: BUSINESS SECTION & POSITION

1. Ensure we have up to date status of each New Product Transition Project in the company each day

2. Establish Coordination meetings at regular intervals with customers ( internal and external)

3. Data analysis and data cleansing

4. Status Internal departments on current status of orders as needed

5. Coordinate order acceptance activity to ensure Perfekta’s interests are protected and we comply with contractual obligations.

6. Lead expedite activity to move hot work in a consistent way with as little production impact as possible

7. Implement continuous improvements in work areas

8. Foster a professional, accountable working attitude
