SMART Sports Medicine Center is currently searching for a women's and family health Nurse Practitioner who can deliver primary medical care to a wide variety of patients. We are looking for someone that is energetic and passionate about serving the community to make a positive patient impact. Your duties will include physical examinations, prescribing medications, performing diagnostic tests, hormone therapy, women's health and creating patient care plans. The successful candidate will compliment Dr. Skip Ross' expertise in sports medicine and orthopedics, as well as work with his team of medical professionals and physical therapists to deliver premium care to new and established patients.

SMART Sports Medicine Center is a family owned medical/physical therapy clinic and fitness center. We have treated patients of Cheyenne and the surrounding areas for 30+ years in both areas. We are looking for someone to join our clinic that is highly motivated and has great people and intrapersonal skills.

Job Duties

• Physically examine patients; perform initial patient screenings and patient history and physical examinations
• Conduct health assessments including recording complete medical history
• Order and interpret laboratory test results

• Make diagnoses; analyze test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options
• Develop a treatment plan that may includes applicable therapies
• Follow up on a patient to determine the effectiveness of recommended treatments
• Deliver quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to productivity
• Serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information, counseling and provide guidance for any patients with critical conditions
• Provide patient education to promote habits that will prevent diseases and maintain good health
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including physicians and nurses

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Nursing
• Valid Nurse Practitioner License
• Ability to work within a team and take direction

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50.00 - $64.00 per hour
