The Lewis County Assessor’s Office is now hiring for a full time Deputy Assessor. This job includes learning the Idaho DMV system, which is for licensing and titling of vehicles, renewing current registrations, and communicating with customers. Applicant will also help assess property in Lewis County, send out Assessment Notices, and communicate with property owners. There will be some computer work related to that part of the position.

This position is 35 hours per week. 9-5, M-F. Benefits begin after the first month of employment, and include medical, dental, vision, Persi retirement, and accrual of sick leave and vacation time. Starting wage is $13 per hour.
