Physician Assistant-PA Float-Newburgh, NY

We have an amazing opportunity for a full-time Physician Assistant Float to work as a throughout several orthopedic & spine practice locations including Newburgh, Middletown and Poughkeepsie, NY.

We are offering the Physician Assistant Float a $140,000-$200,000 a year plus benefits!!!

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, treat and manage a panel of patients
  • Provider comprehensive patient-centered primary medical care
  • Identify acute/non-acute, chronic health problems
  • Use principles of risk management to identify system issues which impact patient care
  • Order and evaluate appropriate diagnostic tests
  • Adhere to clinical practice guidelines for patient chronic diseases
  • Conduct appropriate preventative screens and diagnostic tests
  • Provide appropriate disposition of identified health care problems
  • Participate in Primary Care multidisciplinary activities
  • Providing Women Health Exams
  • Demonstrate medical expertise in diagnosing and treating multi-symptomatic patients
  • Work with EMR system
Required Certification/Registration:
  • NYS PA License
  • BLS, ACLS & PALS Certification
  • DEA Certification, valid and unrestricted required
  • Board Certification Required
