SUMMARY

Accurately plan, operate, and maintain appropriate equipment relative to the operations. Layout, fabricate, assemble, setup machines, read drawings and conduct labor transactions. Process job sheets using fabrication drawings, cutting orders, bills of materials or other project documents by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities:

• Read area cleanup and equipment care postings to support 5S Lean practices
• Keep the area clean and organized
• Use practical problem-solving skills and work with colleagues to accomplish objective
• Attend each of your scheduled shifts and arrive to work on time

Duties:

• Positions parts or materials for processing
• Care for machines, add coolant to reservoirs of machines, and lubricate machine parts
• Removes foreign material from items on conveyor belts
• Assists other production workers in production activities
• Report labor transactions and job information accurately
• Control material cost, labor and overhead costs. Work efficiently with colleagues to minimize energy use and material waste. Create an environment of producing the best product, at the best price with quality expectations and on schedule.
• Implement training received to assist with job efficiency and quality expectations

During a normal shift, the average item lifted is 50 lbs., lifted 20 times a day. The heaviest required item lifted is 100 lbs. These are expected to be done as a team lift.
