Job Description :

Volt has partnered with a leading manufacturer in San Diego to help identify multiple Quality Test Technicians for immediate hire.
As a Quality Test Technician you will:
  • Install, level, set, prepare and operator OEM gas turbines, gas compressor, driven equipment, package system, control console, microprocessor control, sub-assembly, component and or accessory in test cells, fixtures or in special test beds
  • Connect a variety of test equipment necessary for test operation
    Conduct production and first article tests to measure characteristics of packaged systems, controls, subassemblies and components
  • Observe and record test data
  • Conduct vibration surveys and trim balance components

Requirements:
  • Experience with mechanical and electrical systems
  • Experience diagnosing troubleshooting, repairing a variety of control circuits and removing faulty components, troubleshooting down to the component level
  • Experience using testing tools
  • Mechanical or electrical job related experience
  • Ability to read schematics and drawings

We are hiring for 1st shift and 2nd shift. Pay is $30/hr.
The ideal candidates will have held roles in the following (not required):
  • Test Technician
  • Electro-Mechanical Assembly and Testing
  • Testing and Troubleshooting
  • Electrical Assembler / Tester
