Emmi Dessert USA is part of the listed Emmi Group, the largest dairy company in Switzerland with a strong presence in the US. In its four entities in New Jersey and New York, Emmi Dessert USA produces specialty desserts mainly for the US market. The company has been in business for over 30 years and was bought by Emmi Group in October 2020. Processes and systems are not standardized and harmonized yet.

The Sales Analysis and Forecasting Specialist is a newly created position, which will be responsible for the clean-up, harmonization and enhancement of sales master data and for establishing comprehensive/consolidated regular sales and profitability reports, as well as the sales forecast, and for analyzing deviations and making correction / improvement recommendations.

The candidate can be located in Freeport, NY or Kenilworth, NJ

Responsibilities

• Harmonization & enhancement of master data (customer / products)
• Establish/prepare weekly / monthly sales reports (deviation reports)
• Control item & customer profitability
• Establish item/customer Portfolio Analysis
• Establish Sales Forecasts (create templates, supporting sales representatives, modelling trends / financial impacts, etc.)
• Responsible for New Business / New Process (point of contact for sales representatives with new items)
• Develop a Customer Relationship Management System together with Sales
• Support sales organization with price adjustments
• Make recommendations on how to improve the company's performance from a sales perspective.
• The ideal candidate has the following skill set and/or experience
• at least 5 years of experience in a similar role – preferably in the food manufacturing or consumer goods industry
• Strong financial and business oriented analysis skills
• Proficiency in Excel and BI software (preferably Cognos)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment
• Hands-on, can-do mentality
• Eager to establish the needed transparency on key sales KPI's and developments and to actively steer and shape the business
