Established in 1969, PEAK Alarm is a family-owned business that has grown to become one of the largest full-service security companies in the country. PEAK Alarm provides custom-designed security solutions for a wide range of clients. These include burglar and fire alarm systems, integrated access control and CCTV systems, uniformed security officer services, business investigation services, security consulting, and event management services. The company operates a modern, UL-listed Central Alarm Station that monitors our more than 12,000 multi-state accounts.

Security Officer

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Complete a free Security training class (offered weekly) and obtain state licensing
• Have a clean background check and pass a drug screen
• Must have a cell phone to communicate with our dispatch team (your safety is just as important!)
• Physically able to stand and walk for duration of shift
• Comfortable stooping, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs
• Ability to learn camera systems
• Driver’s license with at least 5 years of clean driving experience
• Customer Service oriented
• May be required to work nights, holidays, and weekends

Job Responsibilities

• Provide customer service for our clients, their employees, and their customers
• Report observations of suspicious behavior
• Identify potential security risks
• Complete incident reports
• Wear a provided security officer uniform
