We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about architecting complex software systems and state machine tools. You will have the opportunity to work on user interfaces and algorithms that power Stateflow.

This position requires strong development skills in C++ and/or JavaScript, HTML, CSS and related technologies. You must have strong requirements gathering, design, coding and debugging skill, with a passion for developing high-quality and well-architected software, as part of a collaborative team. We're looking for individuals who have an eye for detail and a desire to follow user-centered design practices.

  • Play a major role advancing the user experience of our products by creating new graphical interfaces and supporting infrastructure.
  • Work with internal and external customers in defining requirements, workflows, priorities, and features.
  • Collaborate with other development teams and creatively invent new solutions.
  • Design and implement high-quality software.
  • Master of Science or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, and/or Physics.
  • Experience with C++ and/or JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, software design, and user interface design skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge or experience with MATLAB or Stateflow/Simulink is a plus.
  • A bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 5 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required.
