Senior QA Analyst

The QA Analyst’s primary mission is to maintain system data integrity by ensuring data processes consistently, testing the system for accuracy and constructing test solutions on our various integration platforms for our customer’s solutions. The QA Analyst is a salaried position based at our Corporate Office located in Middletown, MD.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support to the Business Analytics Team; this includes communicating results of adjudication including defects, effectively communicating with Senior Business Management, testing solutions.
• Maintain weekly/monthly reporting process, issue ticketing system, and knowledge base to improve efficiency, enforce standards and facilitate metrics collection.
• Provide feedback to development on a consistent basis and provide input for product and platform roadmaps.
• Collaborate with Business Analytics Team to troubleshoot product and platform issues.
• Performs scheduled operational data processing tasks following relevant processes and controls.
• Performs logical data mapping and validation using visual scripting tools.
• Create Test Plans, Scenarios, Test Cases, and Test Data. Create Test Scripts to automate the plans. Executing the plan and reporting the defects within the tool set supplied. Create regression test packs and execute them in a separate plan. Record results in test/issue tracking tools.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year institution or equivalent experience
• Professional, responsive, and able to exercise sound judgement
• Excellent teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding problem solving and analysis skills
• Excellent customer service attitude
• Experience with various protocols (SFTP, AS2, HTTP, SMTP, REST, SOAP)
• Relational database experience, preferably MS SQL Server
• Experience with Windows and Linux environments
• Experience with scripting languages

Helpful Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Health Care EDI standards (ASC X12, HL7) and common XML standards (XCBL, CXML, OAGIS) – Nice to have : Able to perform logical Healthcare EDI mapping.
• Prior experience in healthcare claims, adjudication systems/environments
• Knowledge of HIPAA EDI 5010 ASC X12 837P, 837I, 835, 277CA, TA1 and 999 transaction sets
• Knowledge of the Atlassian Product Suite
• Use of Sparx Systems Tool Suite for documentation and team collaboration
