Position Overview: DRT LLC is looking for a full stack web application Senior Software Developer- Full Stack to add to our development team. This exciting opportunity will be supporting an insurance startup that specializes in providing insurance solutions for companies in the trucking/logistics industry. The successful candidate will be part of shaping how the brand is presented to the public! In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, document, and maintain web-based applications - both front-end and back-end
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with team members to facilitate solutions
• Formulate tests and contribute to continuous integration structure

This role is part of a Hybrid Work Environment eligible to work from home up to 50% of the time. Our office is in Carter Lake, IA, just a few minutes from downtown Omaha.

Work-life Balance is important to our organization. A standard work week is 40 hours with little deviation. Working hours are relatively flexible with the ability to flex time for personal use and make it up later.

To ensure employee engagement, there are weekly 1-on-1's with the team lead to discuss issues, challenges, and development. Senior Developers and the Team Lead will provide training, assistance, and feedback.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional experience in a programming position

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• PHP or similar backend languages
• JavaScript
• HTML5, CSS3
• Relational Database Experience (MySQL, SQL Server, etc.)
• Git
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Preferred Skills:

• VueJS, or familiarity with similar JavaScript frameworks
• Bootstrap
• Docker
• CICD
• REST API usage experience
• Redis or similar key-value databases
