Social Media and Marketing Manager

Position:

We are looking for a dynamic person interested in the beauty, aesthetics and skincare industry. The Social Media and Marketing Manager develops and executes social media and digital marketing strategies for our 2 sister companies, Skin Appeal and Mikel Kristi Skin Care. Skin Appeal is a very busy Med Spa and Mikel Kristi is a skin care company that sells direct to consumer online and B2B. Your role will be to attract and engage guests, increase sales, raise brand awareness, and grow engagement in a measurable way using various platforms. A successful Social Media and Marketing Manager will be able to connect with our community and share the core values of Skin Appeal and Mikel Kristi in a way that is exciting and engaging to the consumer. Develop, create and execute creative ideas for content and campaigns for Skin Appeal and Mikel Kristi social media accounts (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging platforms)

  • Interact with our followers by responding to direct messages
  • Respond and engage followers of other businesses with similar target audiences
  • Research aesthetic trends and seek creative opportunities to interact with our followers
  • Confidently facilitate capturing and editing photo and video content for social media posts for Skin Appeal and Mikel Kristi (Pitch, script, edit, caption, and publish content)
  • Creating Instagram story + reels content (video, photos, graphics) that are engaging and relevant to our target audiences
  • Support and assist in development of monthly social media calendar
  • Documenting (when appropriate) our patient journeys with compelling digital storytelling
  • Creating partnerships in the community and exposing people to our Brands
  • Supporting outbound marketing efforts - including making outside calls to generate interest through community marketing, health & wellness trade shows and outbound marketing to local complementary businesses
  • Creating and sending out email marketing campaigns, eblasts, blogs
  • Creating and managing content for both websites (knowledge and use of Wordpress, Wix and Shopify)
  • Photography, Videography creation for marketing content
  • Reporting, Google Analytics
  • Overseeing and organizing events. Focusing on our specific target audience, you will ensure events are successful and cost-effective, paying attention to budget and time constraints.
  • Will work closely with the owner and managers
  • Schedule and conduct meetings as required to determine target and goals
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ years of marketing experience
  • Degree in marketing, communications or related field
  • Solid knowledge of social media channels
  • Hands-on experience in content management
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, graphics, and video)
  • Knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Analytical and multitasking skills
  • Attention to detail, organizational and time-management skills
  • A knack for problem-solving
  • Customer service orientation
  • Commitment to continuous improvement
  • A team player with leadership skills and professional drive
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • Proficiency with Word Press or Wix for websites
  • Interested in engaging with customers and other team members
  • Ability to work independently as well as in team in a fast paced dynamic and fluid environment
  • Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow and enhance current Quality Management System processes and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to thrive in a positive “can do” work environment
  • Ability to Adapt to change in pace and focus
  • Self-driven with a strong desire to meet the needs of our customers and staff
