Position Summary

Participates in the daily activities and operations of the Nashville Distribution House. Performs an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials Responsible for lift truck operation and/or manual tasks associated with the processing of orders.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; sweep, dust and mop.
• Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
• Retrieve and place merchandise in trailers, pallet locations, and pallet racks.
• Assists with the development of efficient space planning for storage areas. Utilizes hand-held computers to receive daily tasks.
• Use powered equipment to retrieve and place merchandise in trailers, pallet locations, and pallet racks.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education And / Or Experience

• High School diploma (or GED), or equivalent years of experience.
• Forklift certification or the ability to pass forklift operator training and receive certification.
• 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
