Module Software Solutions within Sort Test Technology Development (STTD) Department is seeking a software engineering intern to work on the next generation of Intel's test equipment software.

The successful candidate will work on designing/developing software in Intel's test manufacturing facilities used to test all of Intel's processors.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Feature definition, development, and maintenance of Intel's High-Volume Manufacturing (HVM) test equipment software.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.- Cross-geo collaboration with engineering teams across Intel.
• Participation as well as driving design and code reviews.
• Finding opportunities to improve quality of the product and testing processes, bug fixes etc.

Candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits/skills:

• Understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and customers.
• Handle diverse task analysis and troubleshooting.

This is an internship and compensation will be given accordingly based on candidate education level and internship duration.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Knowledge and/or experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences .

Minimum Qualifications:

• Candidate must be pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ months of working knowledge of object-oriented design.

Preferred Qualifications:

6+ months of experience in the following:

• Knowledge of WPF and WCF.
• Net Framework/.Net Core experience.
• Rest API experience.
• Designing and developing a distributed system.
• Experience in using some scripting languages, Python, batch, etc.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
