As a Cloud Engineering intern you will work with our dedicated team that designs, develops, and manages the cloud infrastructure and services at Pluralsight. You will help create a best-in-class customer experience for millions of Pluralsight users by ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our cloud computing environment.
As the leader in professional online developer and IT training, we are always looking for passionate engineers who will strengthen our team by bringing practices which are in line with our values. This position is fully remote on a team of fully remote engineers during the Summer of 2023. The successful candidate will be open to learning and growing on our operational teams.
This is a paid 12-week summer internship position from May 15th - August 4th, 2023.
This position is reserved for current college/university students that will be graduating in 2024.

What you'll own:
  • Design, build, deploy and maintain high-performance distributed systems on cloud computing platforms.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize the performance and scalability of distributed cloud systems to ensure high availability and fault tolerance
  • Understanding basic principles of: Source Control and Pair or Mob Programming
Experience you’ll need:
  • A current junior pursuing an undergraduate degree in CS or related field at an accredited university or college
  • Software Development training, through formal coursework, or equivalent experience
  • An open-minded and inclusive attitude to encourage teamwork, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity or interest in learning:
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) languages such as Terraform, CloudFormation, for automating cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management.
