Department Overview The Command and Control team develops software for public safety organizations to manage public safety responders workflow and operational intelligence management. We build products to serve large cities that need sophisticated, customized workflows to smaller municipalities that need cost effective, end to end solutions. All of our systems are built scalable and highly reliable. We provide both cloud and onpremises solutions.

These efforts are all in support of our cloudbased Software as a Service SaaS solutions for public safety customers. This team is part of the Software Enterprise division, which offers secure, reliable and efficient team communications, and records and evidence solutions for critical public safety and enterprise markets throughout the world. Our services use cloud computing infrastructure on Azure to build at scale.
Job Description
This Software Engineering Intern position will be a member of the team that develops interfaces between Motorola39;s products and third party products. Build and maintain interfaces between Motorola products and third party applications. Develop and test software interfaces between MSI products CAD, RMS, Real Time Comm& Control, and Analytics and a variety of 3rd party systems systems as required to meet customer requirements defined by solution architects. Interfaces are developed using an Extract, Transform, Load ETL architecture with adapters to 3rd party and MSI systems and a transformation layer that includes field mapping, filtering, triggering, and business logic. Interfaces are implemented using a variety of technologies, including Java, Javascript, NodeJS, C, and SQL.

This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice39;s 34;Criminal Justice Information Services CJIS Security Policy34; and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers.

Basic Requirements
Must be pursuing a Bachelor39;s or Master39;s degree in Computer ScienceIT or related technical fieldwith a graduation date h on or after December 2023

Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer
