We are a neighborhood grocery store in the heart of Sussex. Looking to hire someone to learn almost every aspect of store operations to the point that the current owner can take some of those duties off himself so he can concentrate on the additional duties he must perform as an owner. Some of the duties a candidate would learn to do include ordering for various departments, learning basic to mid-level service desk and cashiering operations, display building, stocking, floor cleaning, scan work[printing of tags and signs, hanging price tags, use of computer to create or modify promotions, and more]. Ideal candidate is someone looking to make the grocery industry their career that has grocery store management experience at some level. Must be able to fluidly use computers and have a willingness to learn how owner desires store conditions to be and to guide the rest of the store in maintaining those conditions. Outstanding customer service is a must, along with dependability, responsibility, and a strong work ethic. Leadership must be exhibited at all times. The ideal candidate will receive hands on training.
