The talented Technology Services department at Forest Lawn is looking for a System Administrator and Developer. This position is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and daily operation of Atlassian tools and other marketplace applications. The Systems Administrator/Developer will have experience in administering multiple complex and automated Jira Cloud environments. Requiring strong overall technical skills, excellent customer service skills, and superior organizational and prioritization management skills, this position needs to have a flexible approach to work in a challenging environment.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Administer Atlassian products including Jira, JSM, Confluence, Bitbucket, OpsGenie, Access, Status Page, and Jira Work Management Scriptrunner. System and project level.

Create complex Jira workflows, project workflows, field configurations, screen schemes, permission schemes and notification schemes.

Create conditions, validators, and post functions; make changes to workflows, screens, fields, reports, and provide ongoing support for configuration maintenance.

Create and manage users, groups, projects, and user permissions
-
Create JQL queries, filters, dashboards, and reports.
-
Establish and promote best practices for using Atlassian tools.
-
Help guide and maintain the organization of data in Atlassian tools.
-
Configure, manage, and enhance Atlassian tools, including native functionality as well as researching, testing, and implementing apps.

Troubleshoot access and/or performance issues, engaging Atlassian and/or app vendor support when necessary.

Implement and maintain third party applications/integrations from the Atlassian Marketplace.

Manage backups and restores of Atlassian cloud data.
-
Implement and maintain security best practices across all Atlassian products
-
Design, test, and deploy changes to sandbox and production Jira environments.

Manage Atlassian products releases and release tracks.

Interact with Project Managers, Managers, Developers, Infrastructure Engineers, Practice Teams, Stakeholders, and other Administrators.

Create, manage, support, and operate all administrative functions associated with the Atlassian products as outlined by the sponsoring practice team

Create and maintain technical documentation

Understand system architecture of upstream and downstream impacts when implementing solutions.

Maintain a Customer Service-driven mindset and cultivate strong relationships with other teams.

Follows best practices for change management and incident management

Works independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment.

Handles multiple projects with detail and organization.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
-
Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business, or 5+ years of IT experience in a related field.
-
At least 3 years of experience working with Atlassian products, preferably with Jira Cloud environments – Jira/Confluence administration.

Proven track record with Atlassian installations, migrations, and upgrades.
-
General knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint skills.
-
Experience in report writing tools.

Experience working with Data Models.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
-
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Must be customer service oriented.

Must be flexible, proactive, and a self-starter.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Proven experience as a problem solver.

Valid CA Driver License.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
-
Hands-on experience using JIRA REST APIs for integration with other IPasS tools like Celigo/Workato/etc., and Integration/Automation frameworks.

Hold a valid and current Atlassian certification (preferred) or is willing to be certified within 12 months.

DRUG TESTING POLICY
