HOSPITALITY TEAM MEMBER

Maui Wine is a family-run winery seeking a fun, outgoing and enthusiastic professional to join our team. Our desired candidate will have a passion for hospitality, bring to work a positive attitude, provide exceptional service to our guests and be a team player willing to assist in all aspects of the Tasting Room.

Candidates must be interested in learning and sharing knowledge about wine, food pairings and the history of Maui Wine and Ulupalakua Ranch. Our tasting room is a fast paced hospitality environment and our team strives to provide an authentic and memorable experience for all guests.

Maui Wine’s Tasting Room is currently open Tuesday-Sunday from 11a-5p. Hiring part time, 3 days a week at 24 hours. This position will require some weekend availability.

Salary: Starting at $11.00 per hour, plus daily cash tips, credit card tips on your paycheck. Tip range per hour ($15-$18)

Service Duties

• Communicate genuinely and passionately with guests.
• Manages table assignment and prepares guest orders that include wine flights, food items, and wine by the glass.
• Perform opening and closing tasks
• Assists with all aspects of service, including back of the house organization, preparation, and cleaning.
• Helps guests with retail merchandise, wine purchases and wine shipments.

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older & a current Maui resident.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Obtain a current Maui Department Liquor Control Certification Card.
• Obtain Hawaii Food Handler’s Certification Card

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 40lbs and able to stock merchandise and wine and bust be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
