Temporary Lineworkers

Lake Region Electric Cooperative is currently seeking applicants for the position of Temporary Line Worker. Four positions are available: three at our headquarters in Pelican Rapids and one in our Ottertail location. These positions are full-time, M-F, from May-November.

Responsibilities include assisting the Line Workers in the construction, operation and maintenance of distribution lines and substations. Applicants must have a diploma or degree from a recognized Electrical Line Worker technology program. Candidates should have a valid Class A CDL and the physical ability to do a variety of manual labor.

LREC is a member-owned electric utility located in the lakes country of west-central Minnesota, 45 miles SE of Fargo/Moorhead. LREC offers a competitive wage, benefits package and paid time off.
