Trap Door Immersive Experiences is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team at our upcoming Bethlehem, PA location within Wind Creek Casino. In this role, you will be responsible for creating set pieces and furniture that would have existed during the Golden Age of Piracy. You will also be building a full Rum Bar, putting up decorative wall panels, and crafting the deck of a Pirate Ship.

Responsibilities:

• Design and construct set pieces and furniture in keeping with the Golden Age of Piracy
• Build a full Rum Bar, complete with decorative elements
• Put up decorative wall panels to create the desired ambiance
• Craft the deck of a Pirate Ship, ensuring it is functional and safe for guests
• Work with a team of professionals to ensure that all projects are completed on time and to the highest standard
• Maintain all tools and equipment, ensuring that they are in good working order at all times

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter, with a portfolio of previous work to showcase
• Strong carpentry skills, including experience with various types of materials and finishes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to produce high-quality work
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
