Position Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standards for mechanical and plumbing systems to meet Uline requirements and code compliance.

• Specify and procure mechanical and plumbing equipment and oversee delivery, installation and commissioning.

• Review subcontractor change order pricing for appropriate work hours, material quantities and mark-ups.

• Work with third-party design engineers on construction projects and coordinate resolution of any problems.

• Review mechanical and plumbing systems shop drawings and submittals to ensure they meet design intent and Uline standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.

• 5 years of experience in the specification and installation of new building systems.

• Knowledge of construction techniques and mechanical, plumbing and HVAC systems.

• Familiar with building, fire life safety, ADA and other applicable codes.

• Experience with Data Center HVAC, plumbing and associated systems.

• Read and understand Architectural, MEP, Structural and Civil plans and specifications.
