Goldthwaite Health and Rehab and Hillview Nursing and Rehab is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of HR/Payroll Coordinator in Goldthwaite, Texas.

Roles & Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Communicates changes in personnel policies and procedures and ensures proper compliance is followed.
• Analyzes wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plans.
• Works directly with department managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters. Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
• Oversees new employee orientation to foster positive attitudes toward facility goals.
• Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
• Coordinates management training in interviewing, hiring, disciplinary actions, terminations, promotions, performance reviews, and employee concerns.
• Administers benefits programs such as medical, dental, vision, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
• Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and increase turnover.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
• Ability to effectively present information to management, administration, public groups and/or corporate.
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent computer skills including MS Office, Outlook, Excel
• Payroll knowledge required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
