Who we are...

The Arcadia Theatre, overlooking the Guadalupe River, has been a cultural cornerstone and the locale for generations of stories for Kerrville, Texas since it was built in 1926. Our iconic venue was closed from 1989 until 2019, when our group started construction. The theatre was re-opened to the public in October, 2020.

Our non-profit, Arcadia Live, plans to give this historic theatre new life in its next century by reclaiming its status as a hub for the community and showcasing classic films, live music, comedy shows, and private functions.

In search of...

Arcadia Live is looking for an enthusiastic bartender to join our team for our concerts and private events. We have two full bars with private events during the week and concerts on the weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Plan and present bar menu
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Skills

• Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
• Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Computer literacy
• Knowledge of a second language is a plus
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Relevant training certificate

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $6.00 per hour
