We currently have an opening for a Product Manager in Greenville, SC.

Manage lifecycle of new products from inception to launch.

Works directly with sales leaders and marketing managers to develop VMS product specifications for retail and contract customers. Champions the product management process to enable successful launch of new products by working closely with cross functional teams, including R&D, quality, packaging engineering and planning. Also interfaces with global product development resources. Manages new product development pipeline to ensure projects achieve marketing criteria, meet sales timelines and are properly communicated to key stakeholders within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Engineering, from an accredited 4-year college or University. MBA a plus.
• 5-7 years professional experience with a consumer product manufacturing company - product marketing, project management or engineering roles.
• 2 years + experience managing VMS, CPG, OTC or Rx products, (with VMS and CPG for the retail trade top preference).
• Proven track record managing a deep and complex product pipeline.
• Proficient with use of the Internet, MS outlook, MS office - including word, excel and PowerPoint. Project management software knowledge a plus.
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple and complex projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to facilitate and lead team meetings, and present reports to management
• Proven success working cross functionally on a team, while holding others accountable for executing required tasks
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to design processes to increase efficiency, quality and communication
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
