Job Description Summary

As a Product Manager you will be responsible for leading the interaction of business goals and technology solutions. You will be dedicated to Agile Work Teams and be responsible for bringing digital solutions to market.

Working remotely, the Product Manager, Intelligent Automation is responsible for driving the direction of back-office automation solutions including workflow, Intelligent Document Process (IDP/OCR), Robotics, and AI. You will represent the business team in prioritizing the features for development, designing the solutions, developing user stories, ensuring builds meet requirements, and provide clear communication back and forth between the business and technical teams. You will help shape and execute the product strategy and ensure that it meets the department goals, engage in business case development, and develop maturity of our Agile practices.

Key Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Define and communicate the overall vision, objectives, and goals of the product; be able to articulate the minimum viable product needs.
  • Partner with key organizational stakeholders across the organization to develop and execute product roadmaps and backlogs that drive revenue, improve customer engagement, optimize operations, and enhance business value.
  • Maintain product backlog through continuous prioritization and refinement of initiatives that align with product strategy, including identifying and securing buy-in for new opportunities.
  • Drive digital initiatives through requirements gathering and documentation, functional design specifications, implementation plans, user acceptance criteria, and thorough testing to ensure stated objectives are achieved.
  • Utilize best practices, techniques, and standards; continually track and communicate status; proactively identify, analyze, and document risks/challenges; recommend solutions and initiate corrective action.
  • Enable the delivery team to self-organize, removing impediments, and fostering an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage dependencies with other teams while identifying, building, and managing strategic partnerships across the organization.
  • Partner with executive leadership to drive the organization’s project delivery approach (PMO processes) and strategy through ownership of organizational project management tool, establishing organizational standards and soliciting feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Problem-solving: The ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop creative solutions.
  • Continuous learning: Staying up-to-date and continuously improving skills with new developments in technology with willingness to perform additional duties as required.

Job Requirements, Competencies, and Skills

  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred, however, a combination of education and work experience may be considered.
  • Track record of success directing the efforts of developers as a project manager or product owner in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with conducting business analysis and requirements and managing medium-to-large-scale projects, financial industry experience a plus.
  • Three to five years Agile Product Owner/Product Manager experience with knowledge of and ability to utilize agile and traditional methodologies, disciplines, practices, and techniques preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritization and time allocation.
  • Proficiency in various software tools including the Microsoft Productivity suite, Visio, other process mapping tools and techniques. Knowledge of reporting tools like SQL and CRMS helpful.
  • Technical skills: An understanding of programming concepts, including object-oriented programming. Knowledge of C#, .NET, API frameworks and Microsoft cloud technologies helpful.
  • Process analysis and design with a deep understanding of business processes, the ability to analyze, design, and optimize them and automation knowledge including familiarity with various types of intelligent automation solutions.
  • Passion for understanding the latest advancements in automation and new technologies, and the diligence to apply these to solve business problems.
  • Entrepreneurial drive, with the ability to deconstruct and solve problems, to investigate drivers and figure out why things happen.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and effectively influence and communicate across stakeholder groups, up and down the organization.
  • Strong communicator and presenter with ability to synthesize complex information and relay to people with less expertise.

  • Stable internet connection with speeds high enough for video conferencing and screen sharing

Salary Range: $125,000 to $140,000 annually. Individual salary will vary based on skills and experience. Discretionary incentive compensation may be available based on company and individual performance.
