Summary/Objective

The Project Estimator/Sales will work closely with Sales, Purchasing, and Finance to determine costs and pricing for project-based manufacturing of high-end custom windows and doors. Strong communication skills needed for new business development. The Project Estimator/Sales will report directly to the Owner/CEO.

Essential Functions

• Calculate costs based on analysis of project specifications, pricing schedules for labor and materials, and historical data using existing templates and software tools.
• Analyze postproduction costs and use data to inform future project estimates.
• Communicate with some of the world’s leading architects and designers to determine product types to execute their design.
• Write and prepare budget proposals.
• Study market and pricing trends of competitors.
• Communicate with vendors and prepare RFQs.
• Develop marketing tools as needed.
• Schedule and conduct calls and in-person meetings with prospective and current clients.
• Initiate and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers. Focus will be on incoming leads provided.
• Promote Company services to prospective and current clients.
• Answer inbound prospective and current client general inquiry/sales calls and emails.
• Maintain accurate internal records.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Competencies/Skills & Experience

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• CAD experience a plus
• ERP software experience
• Must be able to read architectural drawings
• Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus
• Must be analytical and detail oriented
• Strong communication and writing skills

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years of work experience in manufacturing, engineering, materials science, construction, or architecture

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
