Supervisory Responsibility:
Position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
The successful applicant will have one of the following professional backgrounds and education:
- Radiology Tech.
Licensure and Certification Requirements:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within six months of hire.
Conscious Sedation Certification preferred but not required.
Additional licenses and certifications required depending on professional background:
- Radiology Tech.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) credential required.
Experience Required:
One year of experience as a Cardiac Catheterization Technician or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience required.
Position Summary:
Performs a variety of technical and supportive patient care tasks to assist physicians in performing complex and invasive cardiac catheterization procedures.
