Who are we looking for?

You are an inquisitive and driven college student, actively enrolled in a software engineering degree program, either pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in CS or CE or a related field. You can work with C# and possibly Python within a Cloud (Azure) environment. You will integrate with the scrum team and take part in scrum ceremonies (standup, planning, refinement, etc.). You’ll work with GUI (Angular), services-based applications and relationship databases (SQL) interactions.

You’ll work side by side with Product Management, QA, Devops and Operations (various degrees based on feature/programming work). You will also participate in story work in the form of understanding requirements (as written stories), communicating with team leads and other devs to understand/demonstrate an approach, working with QA to ensure proper quality testing, and potentially into devop regarding special instructions (if any) for deployment into our Production environments. This will be a part-time (up to 29 hours/week maximum).

What does this position pay?

The hourly compensation for this role is $18.00.

What education and experience do you need?

A combination of the following education and experience factors will be considered:

• Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program or higher in CS, CE or related field
• Experience and knowledge of writing development requirements, designs, and coding in various program languages and support in test in the lifetime of a product
• Knowledge of multi-threaded applications and inter-process communication
• Prior work on software development projects and participation in code reviews
• High attention to detail and expertise problem solving skills
