Job Summary

As the Learning Advocate, Champion Networks, you will build the program which supports our Leaders across all stores, pharmacies and warehouse locations in developing a highly engaged and dedicated team of Thrive Champions. Your core focus will be to develop tools and programs that enable leaders to effectively onboard and engage new Thrive Champions into the Thrive program while also providing visibility to Champion impact and results so that each Leader can manager and support their champion network effectively.




You will be a strong learning advocate, and a cross-functional partner who can adapt learning approaches and tools into thoughtful and extraordinary experiences both via technology and in person learning moments. Your knowledge of just in time learning, mobile adapted learning platforms and champion or advocate programs will be critical to your success.

Job Description

  • Experience Required: 3 to 5 years in a learning advocate role in either a COE or Retail Operations environment
  • Experience Desired: Developing champion networks for a grocery/retail organization, prior exposure to Axonify or other just-in-time learning delivery technology platforms as a user or content owner, performance reporting experience, knowledge of needs assessment processes.
  • Education Desired: Bachelors Degree

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and oversee the development and delivery of the selection, onboarding and development processes and programs for a network of champions for Thrive (Axonify) across all retail, pharmacy and warehouse locations
  • Work with Leaders to build and engage a champion network in each location that is empowered to onboard and engage all team members across the Thrive program
  • Establish analytics and metrics to measure program performance and improve talent development strategies.
  • Consult with HR and Business partners to determine and identify any gaps in the champion network and collaboratively develop solutions for bridging the skills gap and follow up to determine effectiveness of solution
  • Develop and facilitate “train the trainer” training content to the Leaders who are accountable for building and engaging their Thrive Champion Networks
  • Develop an evaluation strategy to assess effectiveness and the ROI of Thrive Champion network, using data and people analytics as it relates to business objectives
  • Coach and guide Leaders on how to best invest in the development of their Thrive Champions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in learning trends, methods and technologies
